Felicity Baker graduated as a music therapist from The University of Melbourne in 1992. Since then she has completed a Master in Music Therapy (1999, UniMelb) and a PhD (2004, Aalborg University, Denmark). She worked as a clinician in neurorehabilitation for 8 years in Melbourne establishing the first post in music therapy for traumatic brain injury. Later she took up an appointment at the music therapy education program at Hogskulen i Sogn og Fjordane, Norway.
